Whether you're visiting for a tournament, cheering on a player, or competing on the courts yourself, we want your experience at Palmetto Tennis Center to be as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Below you'll find answers to common questions about tournaments, parking, spectator information, weather updates, facility policies, and more.

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, all bags are subject to inspection upon entry. Small personal bags, purses, and clear bags are encouraged. Large coolers, outside alcohol, weapons, and prohibited items are not permitted on tournament grounds.

We want everyone to enjoy the matches while respecting the players and officials. Please follow these guidelines while attending tournament play:
Remain quiet during points
Silence cell phones during matches
Applaud respectfully for both competitors
Stay seated while points are in play
Follow instructions from tournament staff and officials
Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the facility.

Parking is available onsite and nearby for tournament spectators, players, and volunteers. Certain tournaments may have overflow parking at the Bobby Richardson Sports Complex, or shuttle services depending on attendance levels.
Please follow all posted parking signs and staff directions during major events.

Food and beverages may be available for purchase during select tournaments. Food trucks and other mobile food vendors may be on-site depending on the event.
Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are generally permitted in small personal quantities. Glass containers and outside alcohol are prohibited.

Tennis events are weather-dependent, and schedules may be adjusted due to rain, lightning, extreme heat, or other unsafe conditions.
Tournament updates will be communicated through tournament staff announcements, social media, official tournament pages, PTC’s new interactive business card, and email communication when applicable.
Matches may be delayed, suspended, or relocated based on conditions.

All tournaments hosted at Palmetto Tennis Center are open to spectators. It’s important to note that some events may have limited access areas reserved for players, coaches, officials, or credentialed guests.

Select events will be live-streamed. If a tournament offers a stream, you'll find the link on that tournament's individual page.

Admission policies vary by tournament. Many events are free to attend, while select professional or championship tournaments may charge admission.

Yes, portable chairs and personal umbrellas are generally permitted unless otherwise noted for a specific event. The Palmetto Tennis Center also offers shaded seating areas throughout the facility, and water is available on-site for guests. Please be mindful of other spectators' sightlines while enjoying the matches.

Only service animals are permitted inside the facility during tournaments and events.
